I have been training with Jake at Arden Fitness Studios for about 13 weeks in that time I have lost two stone and have gone from from zero flexibility to having a whole range of new movements.
Jake is not just a brilliant trainer but a great motivator, when I first started at the gym I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect but Jake was very friendly and went at a pace that was good for me. He has pushed me further and further each week and I'm now now doing things I didn't think was possible. I look forward to what I can achieve with Jake in the future.
I lost a lot of muscle after the rhabdomyolysis and wanted to use calisthenics to get muscle and strength back.
I may not be where I want to be yet but 12 weeks isn't a long time and I already feel loads better.
When you consider that I have had parts of my bowel removed, rhabdomyolysis, blood transfusion, suspected osteoporosis in my left knee and elbow injury, I think I have done ok. Give me two years, I should be pretty ripped for 44
8 week challenge officially over, had my final weigh in today and I could not be happier I have lost 1 stone 5lbs, this hasn't been through a typical fad diet it's through a healthy diet with exercise and determination to get where I want to be.
I couldn't have done it without my trainer Paul and would highly recommend him! Looking forward to training even harder after my holidays.
Since having personal training sessions with Paul Armstrong, I have lost a staggering 10.8kg in 4 months, and I plan to keep using him until I am down even further, I have used other gyms and trainers in the past, but Paul is the only one that works with you, listens to you and then adjusts and adapts to your criteria. The gym is ideally located, and has everything you could need, if your thinking of joining a gym and having sessions, then look no further.
A fantastic gym for a complete beginner! Jake is very approachable and encouraging. He keeps you motivated and provides plenty of support. Highly recommended!
I have been having PT sessions with Clare for a couple of months now and can honestly say i have never had PT sessions like it before! Clare constantly pushes me to and past new limits. Clare is very encouraging and always keeps each session different. Would highly recommend training with Clare. The only downfall is the DOMS that can last up to 6 DAYS!!!!! lol x
PT with Clare is highly recommended; focused, dedicated, challenging and always enjoyable. PT sessions have made a real difference I have noticed real positive body changes and I look forward to my weekly sessions. I can guarantee you will always leave a session feeling better than when you went in, although the DOMS may disagree! A true professional x
You will have doms for days but it will be totally worth it! Clare is very knowledgeable and supportive and will get you results. She is dedicated to your success and growth as a person.
